Urban legend has it that his 20s, Leo and (then) brother-in-law Darryl Christopher Barnett created a website where they anonymously posted critiques of corrupt acts of Guam governor Carl Gutierrez, during his time in office in the 90s. They shone light on corruption, hence the name "The Lighthouse Keepers."
